Heaven on Earth teaches professional techniques to the home chef in the instructor’s own kitchen. Our cooking classes on the North Shore, MA in the beautiful town of Boxford will inspire you. The state-of-the-art equipment and appliances contribute to the efficient and enjoyable atmosphere in which to work, learn and dine while the homey setting creates a warm and relaxed environment. Open up the well-stocked cupboards or pull up a stool and learn valuable cooking tips, cooking school secrets and useful techniques. In the cooking studio you will be given the opportunity to interact with the instructor, ask multiple questions, and practice your newly learned skills under the instructor’s guidance. Whether you are a novice, Food Network junkie or experienced home cook, Heaven on Earth’s classes will expand your skill set and make you a more confident and relaxed cook in your own kitchen.
This is how it goes--Although there is no "typical" class, some things remain the same. When you arrive, you’ll have a few moments to relax and get into the spirit of things. Have a glass of wine (BYOB), maybe a little snack (on us). The instructor welcomes all, discusses the menu, answers questions and recipes are assigned. Each guest/group work(s) together to prepare courses off the menu. The instructors lead the group, the guests cook. Don't worry we have your back!!! When the food is ready everyone is invited to enjoy the fruits of their cooperative effort. Leave the dishes to us!

What You Can Expect:
Classes are hands-on: students help prepare individual recipes under the guidance of an instructor, or demonstration style: an instructor explains and shows recipe preparation and cooking techniques.
Cooking classes on the North Shore, MA are held in a private home with professional equipment and appliances, located 25 miles north of Boston off of Interstate 95.
Classes can be tailored to your own experience level and culinary interest.
The class will be approximately 3-4 hours (depending on format) including dining time.
Due to our time constraints, not all class participants will make all menu items and recipes.
Prices start at $95 per person. Full payment must be received prior to start of class. Upon registration you will be invoiced. Payment can be made by credit card online, credit card over the phone or by check. A gratuity is optional but appreciated by the staff.
If you are using a gift certificate, please bring it with you to the class. Please let us know, upon registration, that you are using a gift certificate.
A one week notice will be needed for cancellations. If you find yourself unable to attend your class for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to reschedule your class at a future date however a refund will not be issued. Your seats in the class are transferable within the same evening to other guests, so if you have friends or family members who can take your seats, they are welcome to attend the class in your place.
Weather cancelations occur. Classes may be rescheduled due to bad weather and unsafe roads. If a class is cancelled due to bad weather we will notify you by the phone number and email you provided at the time of registration. We also suggest you call before leaving home. 978-561-5522.
We use the freshest seasonal produce and the finest quality ingredients available and because of this, we reserve the right to make changes to the menu according to availability of ingredients.
Food allergies are heeded when instructor is made aware of them.
If your food allergy is severe (anaphalysis) it is imperative that we are informed before registering for a class. The guest with food allergies is required to communicate with Heaven on Earth Cooking Studio detailing the allergy. No substitions will be made with the menu without communication with the guest with food allergies. If you or anyone in your party has a food restriction or severe allergy and does not wish to communicate the extent of the allergy with us, we strongly advise against dining with us. Please note, all cooking is done in a kitchen that uses wheat, dairy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, and soy. The owner/instructor has a severe allergy to fin fish and shellfish so these allergens are not present in the kitchen. Please note: Making substitutions in a menu due to dietary restrictions may incur an upcharge to be determined by Heaven on Earth Cooking Stuidio.
Delicious and generous tastings of all that is demonstrated/prepared are plated and served to students. Students dine together at a communal table.
Each student will receive the recipes from the night’s class to take home.
We do not serve alcohol but please feel free to bring your own. We politely ask all those drinking to do so responsibly. We limit the number of bottles of wine to (1) 750ml bottle of wine or (1) 6-pack of beer per person (no hard liquor). Please do not bring more bottles of wine/beer than number of members in your party. If you violate our policy you will be asked to leave without a refund. We will provide wine glasses and non-alcoholic beverages including coffee and tea. We offer both still (filtered tap) and sparkling water.
By registering for a class at Heaven on Earth Cooking Studio, the guest agrees to the following policies. Heaven on Earth Cooking Studio, and/or any employee or guest chef instructor of Heaven on Earth Cooking Studio, is not liable for the following:
Any bodily injuries or damages that you may sustain as a result of participating in any class on Heaven on Earth Cooking Studio's property.
Any damage, loss or theft incurred to personal property and/or equipment.
Food that is removed from our premises and then mishandled is susceptible to foodborne illnesses. Any food taken off site will be at your own risk. Heaven on Earth Cooking Studio will not be held responsible for food consumed outside of our studio.
Unless you explicitly make a request to our team not to be photographed, Heaven on Earth Cooking Studio has full consent to take photographs while you are on our premises. Heaven on Earth Cooking Studio has full and unrestricted publishing and use rights of these photographs.
